Once again a new school has come upon us students. This year I will be in grade 9. I am not very nervous because I do not have to switch schools and because I know who most of my teachers are going to be.

   I start school on the 3rd of September. This seems to be a really early date to me, but Labour Day is on the 1st, teachers go back on the 2nd and school starts on the 3rd. We have to start after Labour Day.

  During the summer we have painted our kitchen green. No, not lime green, but a green so light it is almost white. We are getting a dark green countertop put in and some new flooring. My job was to sand, prime, putty, sand again and then paint all of the baseboards white. My mom and my brother helped me out of course.

   I hope you all enjoyed your summer and I hope you had better weather where you are then we did in my town.
